The University of the Immaculate Conception is among the 27 universities and colleges that have been granted funding by the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology Research and Development (DOST-PCIEERD) for its Health Technology Business Incubator (TBI) under the Higher Education Institution Readiness for Innovation and Technopreneurship (HEIRIT) Program.
Asst. Professor Ceasar Ian Benablo leads the team with members including Dr. Emma Sagarino, Dr. Mary Jane Amoguis, and Dr. Ma. Nanette Casquejo, and Teacher Francis Kenneth Canono. Also with the team is Asst. Professor Kristine Mae Adlaon who is instrumental in the success of the TBI application.
This recognition will pave the way for the commercialization of health-related innovations of the university and its partners
