The University of the Immaculate Conception (UIC), through its College of Pharmacy and Chemistry’s Clinical Pharmacy Program, successfully launched the UIC Experiential Learning Program at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). This international training and exposure initiative, running from June 9 to 19, 2025, provides UIC students and faculty with a vital opportunity to enhance clinical expertise and gain global insights into pharmacy practices.

The program, led by Professor Ervin Michael Abasolo and involving fifteen clinical pharmacy students, aligns with UIC’s commitment to internationally benchmarked education. It includes in-depth sessions on home medication review, live patient inquiry, and direct exposure to pharmacotherapeutic management in Neurosurgical and Intensive Care Units (ICU), preparing students to confidently navigate evolving clinical pharmacy landscapes.
