The University of the Immaculate Conception (UIC) hosted a two-day seminar-workshop on Philippine music from November 7–8, 2024, at the ITRC, Fr. Selga Campus.


The seminar, facilitated by MusikaPilipinas, featured insightful lectures, including Contextualizing Philippine Music by Dr. Dolores Andres, Songwriting for SPA Learners by Mr. John Christian Jose, Music Technology by Mr. Christian Aplaon, and Contemporary Filipino Music by Ms. Ella Corpuz.


Meanwhile, the workshop highlighted engaging sessions such as Vocal Pedagogy and its Application on Filipino Vocal Music by Dr. Ronan Ferrer and hands-on sessions for Guitar, Rondalla, and Voice led by Mr. Lyon Lopez, Mr. Christian Aplaon, Ms. Jasmine Nepomuceno, Ms. Ella Corpuz, and Ms. Erika Guevarra.
The event culminated with a closing program that showcased final performances from the attendees.
