The University of the Immaculate Conception and 50 other Higher Education Institutions participated in the CHED 30th Anniversary and 4th Higher Education Week – Davao Region Kick-Off Ceremony held at the University of Southeastern Philippines Gymnasium.
The festivities commenced with a vibrant parade, followed by inspiring messages from distinguished individuals. Dr. Bonifacio G. Gabales, Jr., President of USEP; Dr. Maricar R. Casquejo, CESO III, CHED RO XI Regional Director; and Dr. Christopher Pio O. Pulido, CHED RO XI Supervising Education Program Specialist. A video message from Dr. J. Prospero de Vera III, Chairman of CHED, added to the celebratory atmosphere.
The event celebrates the successes of the Higher Education Sector, most especially the HEIS and other stakeholders, which have been vital in championing the role of the said sector in Nation-Building and Sustainability for the past 30 years.
