The University of the Immaculate Conception (UIC) Graduate School marked a successful International Research Forum 2025 on May 10, 2025, at the Mini Auditorium, UIC Bonifacio. The event centered on the theme “Integrating Sustainability and Innovation: Interdisciplinary Strategies for Tackling Complex Global Challenges.”
The morning plenary session featured distinguished speakers: Dr. Khadijah Said Hashim from Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia, who delivered a keynote on “Equitable Education for Sustainable Innovation: Reimagining Curricula to Bridge the Digital & Knowledge Divide,” and Dr. Nathan Ray A. Alim from the Department of Science and Technology Region XI, who presented on “Catalyzing Sustainable Development: DOST XI’s Innovation Initiatives in the Davao Region.”
The forum continued in the afternoon with graduate school students presenting their individual research to their fellow attendees and an esteemed panel of reactors.
