UIC-CMBS Conducts Research Colloquium 2025 – TRACE: Navigating Health Research Impact and Innovation.

The College of Medical and Biological Sciences (CMBS) successfully hosted the Research Colloquium 2025 on August 6 at the UIC Main Campus, guided by the theme “TRACE: Navigating Health Research Impact and Innovation.”


The event officially opened with keynote messages from Christine Esther Flor L. Catoera, Science Research Specialist III of the DOST-XI R&D for Development and Innovation Division, and Dr. Grace Amistoso, Assistant Regional Director of the DOH Davao Center for Health Development, who both emphasized the importance of innovation and research in shaping public health outcomes.


The program aimed to underscore the power of research in addressing real-world health challenges through collaboration, innovation, and critical thinking—while fostering academic exchange and promoting a more research-driven, socially responsible healthcare community.
