The University of the Immaculate Conception (UIC) community joyfully celebrated UIC Fiesta 2024: A Day for Mary and the institution’s 119th founding anniversary on December 9, 2024, at the UIC Bonifacio Campus Grounds.
The festivities commenced with a solemn procession of the Blessed Virgin Mary from UIC Bonifacio to San Pedro Church, where a Eucharistic celebration was presided over by His Excellency, Most Reverend Archbishop Romulo Valles, DD.
Following the Mass, the UIC Student Government hosted a lively program filled with games and captivating performances. A highlight of the event was the “Harana Para kay Maria”, a touching musical tribute to the Virgin Mary. This heartfelt offering of songs expressed profound love and devotion to Mary. Performers included UIC Bonifacio’s Synaxis, UIC Bajada’s Chorale Bliss, the UIC Chorale, and the Ignacian Cultural Dance Troupe
