❗Application for the Mother Ignacia Teacher Educator Assistance Program (MITEAP) is now OPEN! ❗

The Mother Ignacia Teacher Educator Assistance Program (MITEAP) is a scholarship Initiative grant offered by the University of the Immaculate Conception – College of Teacher Education (CTE) to qualified Senior High School graduates who intend to enrol in Education for the Academic Year 2025-2026.

The following are the eligibility criteria for this scholarship grant:

1. Must be a senior high school graduate from any school accredited by the Department of Education;
2. Must have at least a general weighted percentage average of 85% and no grades below 82%;
3. Must be willing to enrol in any of the following degrees:
   a. Bachelor of Elementary Education
   b. Bachelor of Special Needs Education
   c. Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Filipino
   d. Bachelor of Physical Education
   e. Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Science
   f. Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics
4. Must be committed to complete the degree program requirements with the study duration;
5. Must have a good moral character;
6. Must be proficient in communication both in English and Filipino;
7. Must not have initially applied to UIC; and
8. Must be willing to shoulder the miscellaneous fee per semester.

Qualifying and selection process:

1. The applicants must submit the required documents through the link provided by the UIC Scholarship Office not later than JUNE 21, 2025.
2. A committee from the Scholarship Office and UIC-CTE will conduct interviews of the applicants as part of the screening process.
3. The qualified students will be notified through email, call or text message.

Requirements:

1. Report Card
2. Recommendation letter (Former teacher)
3. Any of the following:
   a. Certificate of Tax exemption from the BIR
   b. Certificate of Indigence from their barangay
   c. Latest Income Tax Return of parents/guardians
4. Certificate of Good Moral Character
5. Awards and Recognition (optional)

ACCEPTED QUALIFIED APPLICANTS to MITEAP will enjoy a FULL (100%) TUITION FEE DISCOUNT from 1st Year up to 4th Year, but must meet the grade requirement set per semester as stipulated in the CTE Retention Policy.
