The University of the Immaculate Conception’s Community Development Service (UIC-CDS) recently held a comprehensive Drug Education Program as part of its National Service Training Program (NSTP) on August 9, 2025. The event, which took place at the UIC Main Auditorium, was a collaborative effort with the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology XI (BJMP XI) and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency XI (PDEA XI).

The event began with a significant Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing between the UIC Community Development Service (CDS) and the BJMP Female Dormitory and Annex. This marked a formal partnership between the institutions and was attended by officials from both organizations.
Following the MOA signing, the program shifted to a series of educational sessions for NSTP students, with the theme “NO DRUGS.”

The sessions featured expert speakers from the PDEA XI:
- Ms. Hazel O. Mandanao, Provincial Officer of PDEA XI Davao de Oro
“Drug Situationer.” - Mr. Noli Nephi D. Dimaandal, Information Officer 3 of PDEA XI
“Drug Identification.”
Students also participated in an open forum, moderated by Ms. Angelica Cinco, RND, where they could ask questions and gain deeper insights. The program concluded with a message from Mr. Ronaldo A. Rivera, Consultant/Main Facilitator of the UIC Kaduyog Sagop Kinabuhi Program.
