The University of the Immaculate Conception College of Pharmacy and Chemistry (UIC-CPC) and Allied Health Graduate Education Programs have signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Mahidol University and Burapha University in Thailand. The agreement, signed on August 8, 2025, establishes the UIC Visiting Professor Program.
This program is designed to foster collaborative research projects between visiting professors from Thai universities and UIC faculty and students. The collaboration will focus on key areas such as advancing public health, pharmacy education, and creating sustainable health systems.

Furthermore, the partnership seeks to enrich UIC’s academic programs by integrating the principles of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) with Ignacian pedagogy into instruction, research, and community engagement.
The MOA was signed by S. Ma, Marissa R. Viri, RVM, UIC University President, and representatives from the partner institutions: Professor Dr. Benjabhorn Weeraphon, Professor Dr. Arpa Petchsomrit from Burapha University, and Associate Professor Dr. Luerat Anuratpanich from Mahidol University. The agreement was made in collaboration with UIC’s External Relations and Internationalization Office (ERIO).
