The University of the Immaculate Conception College of Pharmacy and Chemistry (UIC-CPC) official Academic Club, the PharmChem CARES, in coordination with the Community Development Service (CDS), recently conducted a medical mission titled “CARESponders: Uplifting Lives, Serving Beyond Prescriptions.”


Held on August 5, 2025, in Brgy. 8-A, Purok 10-B, Lower Madapo, the event was a collaborative effort with the Community Development Service (CDS), led by Dr. Corazon Umblero. This medical mission is part of PharmChem CARES’ commitment to extending healthcare services to underserved communities, an activity they typically conduct once every semester or academic year.


This particular mission was also a component of the Collaborative Pharmacy Exchange Program (CPEP), with students and faculty from partner universities in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand actively participating, showcasing a commitment to international collaboration and community service.
