The University of the Immaculate Conception’s (UIC) DOST scholars recently participated in the prestigious DOST-SEI Scholars Leadership Camp, held from July 2-6, 2025, at The Ritz Hotel at Garden Oasis.

In a fantastic partnership with the Department of Science and Technology – Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) Filipino Patriot Scholars Program and DOST Region XI, the 2025 DOST Scholars Leadership Camp brought together 100 bright DOST scholars from across the Davao Region. This gathering was specifically designed to cultivate leadership deeply rooted in Science, Service, and Patriotism.
The opening day set an inspiring tone. Ms. Sheryl N. Napoco, delivering the message of DOST XI Regional Director Dr. Anthony Sales, eloquently emphasized the immense responsibility that comes with being a DOST scholar. She encouraged all participants to lead with unwavering purpose, integrity, and a profound commitment to national development. Through thought-provoking sessions and meaningful interactions, the scholars were encouraged to reflect, connect, and gain a deeper understanding of their vital role as future leaders.
