Nutrition, Universal Training, and Research for International Advancement (NUTRIA) Program Phase 3 – Outbound Mobility

As part of the official itinerary of their outbound mobility from April 5–12, the College of Human Environmental Sciences and Food Studies (CHEFS) of the University of the Immaculate Conception (UIC) continues to take bold strides in global academic engagement under Phase 3 of the NUTRIA Program (Nutrition, Universal Training, and Research for International Advancement) at Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia (AJCUI).

Our Nutrition and Dietetics students had a dynamic day of learning and cultural immersion!

In the morning, they visited Sasa Inti, where they experienced a hands-on practical cooking session, guided by Chef Igo and Chef Jason, with the support of students from Podomoro University and Sasa Inti employees. They also learned about the fascinating process of how Sasa seasonings are made—an insightful and flavorful experience! 🍽️

In the afternoon, the energy continued at Kota Tua, where the students took part in an Amazing Race-style cultural adventure with four engaging tasks. This was made even more special through the assistance of the International Office of Atma Jaya, allowing our students to explore and appreciate Indonesian history and culture in an interactive way.

This outbound experience is a testament to UIC’s strong commitment to global learning, cross-cultural collaboration, and excellence in nutrition education.
