The Medical Laboratory Science program of the university earned its highest honors in history by topping the Medical Technology Licensure Exam last September 13-14, 2014.

This comes with a 100% passing rate and at least 80% overall exam rating for the 63 Board  Exam takers of the program. Among the 63 passers are 62 first takers and one repeater.

MLS Program Dean, Dr. Avee Joy Dayaganon received the plaque of recognition from the Professional Regulation Commission for the program’s ‘exemplary passing performance’ to the said exam. This was awarded last October 25, 2014 during the oath-taking ceremonies at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP), Manila.

UIC shared the top performing school merit along with Saint Louis University-Baguio and Lyceum of the Philippines University-Batangas, Inc.
