Learner Outcomes

The College of Accounting and Business Education is one of the ten colleges in the University of the Immaculate Conception. CABE offers accounting and business education programs. The college has a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting, and the Bachelor of Science in Accounting Information Systems for accounting education. For Business Education, CABE offers Bachelor of Science Administration majors in Financial Management, Marketing Management, and Human Resource Management.

 Program Outcomes

         For the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, here are the program outcomes:

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Financial Management Program aims to produce a graduate who:

  1. performs the basic functions of management such as planning, organizing, staffing, directing, and controlling to make wise and fair decisions that are responsive to the changing landscapes in the Financial Management industry.
  2. Applies the basic concepts that underlie each of the functional areas of business (marketing, finance, human resources management, production, and operations management, information technology, and strategic management) in various changing business situations.
  3. Selects the proper decision-making tools that consider moral, ethical, and intellectual dimensions to critically, analytically, and creatively solve problems and drive results.
  4. Plans and implement business-related activities that are understanding and responsive of the cultural, legal, economic, and geopolitical forces impacting business operations in a global and local economy
  5. works effectively with other stakeholders and manage conflict in the workplace to achieve the objective of the common good
  6. expresses oneself clearly and communicates effectively with stakeholders in oral and written forms using honest, tactful, and precise language and appropriate media.
  7. Applies information and communication technology (ICT) skills as required by the business environment to enhance individual and organizational performance and productivity
  8. exercises high personal moral and ethical standards in business and professional conduct for God’s glory, home, country, and the world.
  9. Engages in the acquisition of continuous and meaningful learning experience with zeal and passion for improving and uplifting life conditions.

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing Management Program aims to produce a graduate who:

Bachelor of Science in Accounting Technology learners

  1. are prepared for eventual entry into the regular degree program of the Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA).
  2. Possess specific skills for entry into the BPO industry and accounting information.

 

Bachelor of Science in Accountancy learners

  1. demonstrate analytical skills and a strong foundation in financial accounting, auditing, taxation, and other related fields in preparation for membership to the accountancy profession and ultimately meet the profession’s demands and challenges.
  2. Help in the development of the business community through professional competence using information technology.
