The University of the Immaculate Conception, with its objective to help create opportunities for people through enhancement of their technical skills, finally opened its door to the technical vocational world.

During the last quarter of 2015, University of the Immaculate Conception (UIC) has received TESDA accreditation as Assessment Center in Cookery NC II, Bread and Pastry Production NC II, Bartending NC II, Front Office Services NC II, Food and Beverage NC II and Housekeeping NC II. The following year, January 2016, UIC has also received Certificate of TVET Program Registration (CTPR) in all the above mentioned TESDA qualifications.

In May 2016, UIC has acquired CTPR in Trainers Methodology Level 1 and has been granted an Assessment Center Accreditation in TM L1 the following month thereafter.

In November 2017, Pharmacy Services NC III and Bookkeeping NC III Assessment Center Accreditation were added. Currently, the TVET office is working further to open opportunities to individuals who are allied with Information and Communications Technology (ICT), Human Health and Construction Sectors.

Since the time UIC has acquired the CTPR of the different qualifications, it has already implemented numerous technical skills training and has proudly produced highly competent TVET Trainers and Assessors of different expertise.

To promote the internationalization of TVET institutions, and leverage the global competitiveness and 21st century skills of TVET students in Southeast Asian countries, UIC is actively involved in the SEA-TVET Student Exchange Program of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) in collaboration with Ministries of Education and related Ministries and TVET institutions in Southeast Asia.

UIC is one with TESDA in its spirit and intent – sa TESDAbot Lahat.
