UIC maintains Autonomous Status for 2024-2027

Congratulations to the University of the Immaculate Conception for being granted CHED Autonomous Status for the period 2024-2027. This autonomy enables HEIs to offer new undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs in their areas of expertise without needing CHED approval.

The status provides the institution with the flexibility to design and implement curricula, establish research centers, and forge international linkages with minimal government intervention. UIC will also have the privilege of offering distance learning and extension programs, benefiting both local and international students. This recognition reflects UIC’s commitment to delivering transformative and quality education.
