MBA Students Hold Symposium

MBA students hold symposium

The students of the Masters of Business Administration of the University of the Immaculate Conception conducted a symposium on the prevention and control of tropical diseases through the help of the Community Development Center (CDS).

The symposium was organized by the MBA students taking the subject Corporate Social Responsibility under Dr. Ronaldo Borja last April 22, 2018. Thirty housing project recipients pre-selected by ther CDS were the particiapnts of the program. The aim of the event was to provide awareness on the prevention and control of tropical diseases such as measles and dengue.  

Xindy Joy Mahumoc, the current Infection and Prevention and Control Committee Manager of Davao Doctors Hospital gave the talk on various topic regarding measles and dengue.  The symposium was also a response since there was a measles outbreak last January this year.

Febie Hazel Tabuada and delivered the closing remarks. Present also in the event was Dr. Presentation Acosta, MBA Program Director who commended theorganizers for the success of the event.
