| The Pre-implementation briefing for the DOST-PCIEERD approved project entitled a Mobile-Web Bidirectional Neural Machine Translation System for Filipino and Cebuano was held last January 31, 2020 at the University of the Immaculate Conception – View Deck Conference Room, Father Selga St., Davao City – The said meeting served as a kick-off event for the commencement of the project’s implementation and was attended by the project team members headed by Ms. Kristine Mae Adlaon together with the DOST-PCIEERD Emerging Development Division representatives headed by Ms. Edna Nacianceno. The pre-implementation briefing aims to review the obligations of both parties before, during, and after the project implementation. |
The Mobile-Web Bidirectional Neural Machine Translation System for Filipino and Cebuano is an approved project under the DOST’s Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (PCIEERD) research program that provides research funds to projects consistent with the priorities identified in the national research agenda for industry, energy, and emerging technology sectors. The project is an initiative of Ms. Kristine Mae Adlaon, a faculty member of the College of Computer Studies of the University of the Immaculate Conception. The university serves as the implementing agency to advance the said research to its complete implementation and deployment.
