Grad students engage in seminars and trainings

For Academic Year 2017-2018, the faculty members of the Master of Science in Pharmacy Program and Master of Arts in Teaching College Chemistry attended various seminars and trainings which furthered their knowledge and experience on advanced pharmacy and chemistry courses. Also, faculty members were involved in research activities. The latest of which are the research grants from the Commission on Higher Education and the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Health Research and Development. To promote internationalization, faculty members were sent for immersion at the Management and Science University, Malaysia for three weeks. They were exposed on the different teaching learning activities implemented in Malaysia which would serve as basis for implementing 21st century teaching learning activities in our own classroom settings. As local relevance is as important as global competitiveness, faculty members and students were involved in outreach activities within Region 11, extending our services from the classroom to the community.
