The limits brought by face to face interaction to meet and greet and learn from expert across Asia is made possible through the Faculty Virtual Exchange Lecture Series. This activity allows faculty members to share their knowledge in the field, thus making faculty members and students of Teacher Education Institutions (TEIs) more responsive to the rapidly changing time.

In this internationally collaborative endeavor and as part of UIC’s CTE’s effort in strengthening partnership and internationalization, Dr. Jo-Ann Y. Solomon conferred about Resilience amidst Adversaries, where she shared points on coping with one’s education despite the current social unrest. Correspondingly, Dr. Porferia S. Poralan talked about the Sensory Processing Activities for Heightened Mental State, where she addressed the implication of maintaining a healthy lifestyle to overcome today’s challenges. Meanwhile, Dr. Nurul Hazwani Binti Shamsud of Management and Science University’s (MSU) presented Creativity and Innovation in STEM Education. At the same time, Mr. Ezzad Bin Ghuzlan discussed Weight Management and its significance to one’s well-being.

Indeed, this allowed partakers to gain knowledge about teaching and learning and health and life goals from designated professors of the partner institutions. During the lectures, they discussed topics that relate to recent happenings and dilemmas. The speakers highlighted their roles as leaders and doers in the community, inspiring the youth most of all.

The lecture series manifests that UIC-CTE pursues the value of education, and health and life goals today in overcoming global challenges through different helpful perspectives from partner institutions, likewise strengthening ties through national and international collaboration.
