» UIC Holds Pilgrimage

With the themes, “Remembering the past with gratitude” and “Christ the same yesterday, today and forever”, the Archdiocese of Davao celebrated its 60th Diamond Jubilee. It was a year-long celebration that was launched December 17, 2008 and culminated on that the same date of 2009. In line with this celebration, the Archdiocese of Davao issued an administrative decree establishing the conditions for the Jubilee Indulgence on the Diamond Jubilee celebration.  more »

» UIC-ITE Teams emerge as champion and second runner-up in Mindanao Wide Contests

The ITE Program once again demonstrated excellent performance in the Mindanao Wide Quiz Bowl and Programming competitions held last December 4 and 5, 2009, respectively. The Quiz Bowl Competition was held at the Holy Cross of Davao College gymnasium with participants coming from different schools in Mindanao. » UIC sends participants on the First National Biotechnology Education Conference and Hands-on Training for Teachers

The National Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (NIMBB), UP Diliman in cooperation with the Department of Agriculture – Biotechnology Program Implementation Unit (DA-PIU) and Commission on Higher Education (CHED) sponsored the First National Biotechnology Education Conference for Teachers held in The Heritage Hotel Manila on November 27, 2009. The said conference was coincided with the celebration of the National Biotechnology Week in the Philippines.   more »

» Pharmacy/Chemistry Program Sponsors Test Animal Care and Handling Seminar-Workshop

The Pharmacy/Chemistry Program first time conducted a Seminar-Workshop on Test Animal Handling and Care on October 12-13, 2009. The goal was to enhance the skills in proper handling of laboratory animals for research purposes. The activity was held at the UIC AVR1 Bonifacio Campus on Day 1 while on Day 2 the workshop was done at the UIC Main Campus to avail of the facilities. Participants of said seminar were composed of the faculty of the Pharmacy/Chemistry Program as well as the third and fourth year Pharmacy students.   more »
